Elsa Defaria and her spouse, Douglas Sterling, co-homeowners of the diner on Buy Road, pick out to keep on being good, she said.
“We’ve decided it’s time to transfer on and to pursue new opportunities,” she mentioned. “We had a good and successful 11 yrs at Whaling Town Diner, and we are particularly grateful to our amazing consumers and workers who have supported us throughout that time.”
It’s not goodbye, however. They will continue serving up foods in the South Close of New Bedford.
“We are wanting to foreseeable future endeavors, specially continuing to grow our first venture, Clark’s Stage Creamery,” she reported. “We hope our loyal shoppers and the community will come to delight in by themselves there.”
Clark’s Place Creamery is found at 26 Brock Ave. Pizza, drop-off-the-bone ribs, fried seafood, clam cakes and of training course ice product are some of the items on the menu.
The diner is closing on Father’s Working day, serving breakfast only, but they hugely advise calling to make a reservation.
